Troubleshooting your Happiness Programme smart-projector

Here are some of the most common challenges users encounter with the Happiness Programme projector, along with simple steps to resolve them.

  1. Focus & Image Quality

The projector has three lenses — make sure all of them are clean before use:

  • The main projector lens
  • The movement sensor (locatedunderneath the main lens)
  • A small black oval lens beside the main lens, which is the focus lens

  1. The Happiness Programme uses a short-throw projector, so placement matters:
  • Position the projector no further than 6 feet (180cm) from the projection surface
  • The surface should be flat and preferably light in colour, with no pattern
  • If using a wood grain table, we recommend laying a white tablecloth or sheet over it

  1. Responsiveness / Projector Not Reacting to Movement

If the projector isn’t responding to movement, please follow these steps from the main menu:

  1. Go to Settings → System → Light Calibration
  2. Clear the projection area and start the calibration
  3. When the countdown from 10 begins, stay as still as possible — the aim is to set the sensitivity as low as possible
  4. Watch the threshold percentage on screen and try to keep it under 20%
  5. Once complete, return to the main menu

To test whether the issue is resolved, try the following activities:

  • Leaves
  • Painting
  • Car Racing
