If you have just updated your projector to the latest system, or the games aren’t responding to your movement, you may need to recalibrate your smart projector.
Below are the details of how to calibrate your smart-projector.
Step 1 — Light Calibration (please stay still during this process so the light and shadows are constant)
With the unit switched on, press the Home button on your remote to access the Home menu. Navigate to Settings > System, then select “Light Calibration.” Clear the playing surface and press OK. This adapts the projector to the brightness levels in the room, so please stay still during the process so the light level remains consistent
Step 2 — Test a game
Once complete, test an interactive game such as Textile Painting or Autumn Leaves to check the projector is reacting correctly to movement. (Note: not all games are interactive — Clouds, for example, won’t respond to movement by design.)
Step 3 — Surface Calibration (if needed)
If movement still isn’t registering correctly, perform a Surface Calibration. Surface calibration uses a 9-point calibration system to accurately map the projector image to your playing surface.
Navigate to: Settings → System → Surface Calibration. Before starting, clear the playing surface completely. Locate the calibration disc from your original projector box, and follow the on-screen instructions:
1. A grid of calibration boxes will appear on the screen.
2. Place the calibration disc in the centre of each box as it appears.
3. Press OK when the circle turns green.
4. Continue through all 9 calibration points until the process is complete.
This process helps the projector correctly map the projection area and detect movement across the entire play surface.
If you can’t find the disc, just let us know.
