Access to arts and culture should not disappear simply because someone moves into care or receives a dementia diagnosis. For so many people, theatre, music and shared cultural experiences have been part of a life well lived, and continuing to enjoy those moments remains just as important. We know these experiences spark connection, engagement, memory and joy, helping people continue to feel part of the world around them.
We will always champion organisations that recognise there is still so much life to be lived after a dementia diagnosis and actively celebrate that fact. Because meaningful experiences, creativity and moments of joy do not stop, and neither should our ambition to make them accessible to everyone.
