What is the Happiness Tracker?

The Happiness Tracker is a great way to make structured notes and keep a record of each Happiness Programme session. This can be a good way to keep track of:

  • Which games you’ve tried
  • What has worked well for certain residents
  • What hasn’t worked well for residents
  • Prop use
  • The effectiveness of each session

The Happiness Tracker is there to help care teams document the care outcomes that they experience whilst using the Happiness Programme. These records can be useful for managing personalised care plans and to support with internal reporting. The Happiness Tracker provides important insights for the Social-Ability team, which alongside usage data, is used to create the Happiness Programme reports that you receive as part of your subscription.

We’ve put together this short video to explain how you you can use the Happiness Tracker to get the most out of your sessions:

This feature is now ready to use in a digital format, via google forms, which will be accessible on your email . We recommend that on completion of the form,  that you download as a PDF to keep track of your sessions. The form will not be available to refer back to unless downloaded first. There’s also a paper version of the Happiness Tracker that is available to print out.

The Happiness Tracker data allows the team at Social-Ability to evaluate and learn how the Happiness Programme is used. All data submitted helps us to develop the Happiness Programme further. Your feedback is an important part of how we put together reports and future updates. You can withdraw your data at any time via the email on the form.

The Happiness Programme is a first-of-its-kind initiative helping to change the lives of people living with cognitive challenges. We use interactive light technology to provide meaningful activities for residents and patients in care homes and care settings.  For more detail on what the Happiness Programme is and how it’s helping care venues across the UK, visit our getting started page.
