Social-Ability

We’re in pursuit of CPD certification for the Happiness Programme’s training programme

We’re proud to announce that Social-Ability has officially started the process to become a CPD accredited training provider. This means that over the next few months we’re working hard to ensure the training we offer you is provided in the format, and meets the criteria as laid out by the CPD industry standard. We’re aiming to turn our existing training programme into something that’s recognised by the care and training industries and that care staff can use as an additional asset in their careers.

Our aim is to have achieved accreditation by late 2021/early 2022 and we look forward to sharing more details with you when we can. In the meantime, a few words from our co-founder and MD, John Ramsay:

We believe in our training and understand that it is an essential part of what makes the Happiness Programme successful. We are looking to ensure that a reputable accreditor, such as the CPD, recognises that our training is of the highest value and quality for our subscribers. It is our number one priority to make sure that we are delivering the best level of service for our clients.

This is to guarantee that everyone is getting the most out of the Happiness Programme. Our ultimate goal is to continue to improve the lives of those both living and working in care.”

The Happiness Programme is a first-of-its-kind initiative helping to change the lives of people living with cognitive challenges. We use interactive light technology to provide meaningful activities for residents and patients in care homes and care settings.  For more detail on what the Happiness Programme is and how it’s helping care venues across the UK, visit our getting started page.
