"It’s been great to see our residents interacting with the children and working as a team"

At Clare Lodge, laughter and teamwork were in full swing during a recent Intergenerational Happiness Party with children from Bernards Heath Infant and Nursery School. The event brought together residents and pupils for a fun-filled session of games, smiles, and meaningful connection. Residents and children worked side by side, supporting each other through a variety of activities and sharing plenty of joyful moments along the way. Events like these help to build confidence, encourage communication, and create lasting memories across generations. “It’s been great to see our residents interacting with the children and working as a team to work through these games.” The Happiness Party was a wonderful reminder of the positive impact intergenerational activities can have on wellbeing, friendship, and community spirit.
